Dr. Jennifer Gander is an epidemiologist for health outcomes research and committed to a career in clinical and translational research. Dr. Gander’s focus is to improve health outcomes for patients diagnosed with chronic diseases. More specifically, Dr. Gander’s emphasis is to improve health outcomes for patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and end state renal disease (ESRD). Dr. Gander’s current work focuses on talking with patients to understand their experiences with managing kidney disease and working with the nephrology team to improve patient education and reduce barriers in their care.

Dr. Jennifer Gander continues her translational research at Kaiser Permanente Georgia. Dr. Gander partners with experts across the country and within Kaiser Permanente Georgia to ensure the best practices are available to our members. Dr. Gander recognizes the importance of involving patients, community members, researchers, and healthcare providers at every stage and continues building partnerships with patients and healthcare providers to ensure improved health outcomes for Kaiser Permanente Georgia members.
