Natalie Thurman is the Research Compliance Consultant and IRB Administrator for Kaiser Permanente Georgia. Thurman also serves as the regional Research Review Committee Administrator. Her primary role is to help streamline the ethical review process for research, ensuring high standards of human subject protection and regulatory compliance in accordance with federal and state regulations and KP policies and procedures. She functions under the supervision and guidance of the regional Compliance VP and is the primary liaison between the region and the IRB and Research Review Committee. In addition to more than twelve years as an IRB professional, she has experience in clinical trials research as a coordinator, regulatory specialist, and manager.
